This edition was born out of motorsport and developed by the M-Sport world rally team, which Ford support in the World Rally Championship.

A limited run of editions were produced with rally touches and unique features to give owners a feeling of a road-going rally car. 

21 editions were produced.

This special edition was mass produced near to the end of the production cycle and came in only one body colour.

It featured nearly everything on the features and optional extra's lists and became the most powerful Ford Fiesta since the first one in 1976.

1003 editions were produced.

This wasn't a special edition as such, but gave buyers that extra door access while keeping the sporty underpinnings which had proved the Fiesta Mk.7 ST to still be a hit. This was sold as a regular vehicle, not limited to a certain quantity of sales.

It did not differ at all from it's 3-door counterpart, but gave those with families the option to stay with a small sporty car, rather than upgrade.
